Fly-Fishing

At Bushmans Kloof guests have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the Doring River’s biggest endemic fish species, the Clanwilliam Yellowfish (Labeobarbus capensis) and Sawfin. These iconic fish are ambassadors for clean healthy rivers and are highly prized by fly-fishermen for putting up a vigorous fight. Your guide will educate you about the lifecycle of these incredible creatures, as well as the vital role they play in the ecosystem. Please note the fishing is strictly catch and release.
