Our chefs craft menus that change with the seasons, using fresh produce from our on-site gardens and drawing inspiration from the region’s indigenous fynbos - from world-famous rooibos to abundant wild herbs. Whether dining by candlelight or enjoying an al fresco braai under the southern stars, every meal offers a delicious journey into the Western Cape’s rich culinary traditions.

The Homestead

The Homestead is the heart of the lodge; the formal dining room and terrace offer specialities from our Executive Chef’s à la carte menu, whilst the bar and lounge provides the perfect setting to swap stories and seek quiet moments.

A curated cellar

Bushmans Kloof features an extensive wine cellar with nearly 3,000 bottles from 700 South African and international producers. Cellar tastings are offered on request, with a special focus on Cederberg wines. In addition to South African wines, the collection includes craft beers, spirits, and a refined selection of French Champagne and Cognac.
