Alongside, a well-stocked library offers a fascinating collection of reference works, Africana and a comprehensive collection of wildlife films.
The serene courtyard is home to a heated pool and on-site gymnasium, while the shaded terrace is the perfect venue for brunch, or perhaps a tutored tasting of the wines of South Africa.
And while we love al fresco dining at Bushmans Kloof, when dramatic winter storms roll across the Cederberg the formal dining room at The Homestead offers an elegant venue for a culinary discovery of the Cape.
